java - PyCharm startup failure -


my pycharm fails startup after reboot of system updates, disappears after showing splash screen.

when tried start command line, shows following error:

noticed says "incompatible text-specific lcd contrast key", started trying various display settings in pc, , found if turn off "cleartype", able startup successfully.

how can fix without turning off cleartype?

ok, found out reason. there setting in registry might read pycharm, , causes crash:

hkey_current_user\control panel\desktop\fontsmoothinggamma

i manually added key while ago, trying improve cleartype text displaying, referring this link.

after deleting key, pycharm can started cleartype enabled.
