objective c - iOS: Is it possible to detect a non finger touch? -


i have app expects coin placed on top of phone after it's loaded. possible detect coin , surface area touching phone? want create circle around edges of coin.

the hardware responds kinds of conductivity, such of human skin. have experiment see happens different types of coin. if hardware can detect coin, software reduce touch point. iphone not in business of detecting coin shapes more in business of detecting finger shapes. thus, app unable find out coin is.
